To design and develop a biodegradable version of the Nerf PU foam darts. Extensive materials research led us to use mycelium as a basis for the first biodegradable darts. Using moulds, the mycelium grows and expands into the desired shape. Life Darts are seed infused Nerf Darts made from mycelium. When left on the forest ground, the mycelium dart forms the nutrition for the seeds it carries, spreading plants and flowers where they fall.
